We all know that the beauty of the world comes and goes, or so we've been told. I believe that the beauty of the earth is never gone, simply hidden among the things that make it- us- ugly. Beauty is seen when a child is born, when we look into honest eyes, when you give someone less fortunate a reason to smile. We see it in small things such as a family of rabbits hopping across the yard, the sun setting, the waves crashing on shorelines. Sometimes we even see it in big things, huge things, like a world wide project to help people with AIDS or those in poverty. People tend to find beauty in simplicity of flowers or a card. With all this beauty, how can one really say it comes and goes?
It doesn't really, but war, depression, disease, addiction, poverty, homelessness, death, even divorce and fights among friends mar the clear beauty of the world. But is there anyone to blame? Any single person? A group maybe? My belief is that there isn't one person to blame, instead we should each point a finger at ourselves and ask "How can we change?"
