Two Hour Delay Sucks

It started on the bus, with me leaning around the seat in front of me, whispering to John. Then Alec, sitting two sits in front of us caught my eye. His hair was dark, or rather, what hair was left was dark again. It was long and straight, with blond tips poking out. As I opened my mouth to say something about it, he cut me off. "I like it," he snapped.
Then I was getting off the bus at a huge house. I walked right up to the front door and entered, to be greeted by several dogs, including a poodle-a tall poodle. I took a winding path up to what I guess was my room. I turned the intricate handle and stepped into a sitting room. To the left was a set of two doors that I later learned slid open and close. I headed straight ahead to the other door and entered my actual bedroom. Inside was the largest four-poster bed I'd ever seen. There were a few more doors, a bureau, and a few other things. I dropped my things and went straight to sleep.
Getting up from the bed as the dream switched, I heard my dad scream about a 2 hour delay. That's when the dream went haywire. I was moving around and my dad came in, using a walker. He was on the phone and was telling me he would tell me the conversation when he was done. When he got off he said, "I can't tell you. It's a secret."
Except he'd written it down and there were keys and strange things in his hands. With the walker forgotten, he began to move around slowly. He dropped one of the things in his hands and I swooped down and grabbed it. I ran back to my room and locked the door he headed for. I threw it under my bed and as he found his way in, he knelt by the bed and looked. Grabbing the other things from his hands, I ran again, reading them as I headed for the sitting room.
Apparently Chris was leaving Serena because he'd gotten her pregnant. This didn't seem off to me, just as the rest of the dream hadn't. Going back to my dad, I told him I knew it was going to happen. I told him that I'd herad Chris hint at it.
Suddenly he was shushing me for my "mother" was home, but when I looked out the window, I looked right into the face of MeaganLayne's mother, only about half a foot taller. She came up the walk and we hurried down to see her. When we got to the front entry, she hugged each of us far too tightly and smiled a fake smile.
"Run along now, Kayla."
And I did. Anything to escape that woman. Running up the stairs, I found myself calling a little boy's name. When he didn't answer, I began taking another set of stairs and found the young boy, and a nun. She had her hands clasped tightly around his arm and was pushing him down the stairs in front of her.
"What are you doing?" I whispered, as though this were supposed to be something secret. Neither answered me, and when they reached the door at the bottom of the stairs, the nun grabbed the little boys head with one hand and the door handle with the other. She opened the door at the same time she pushed the little boy's face forward and bones inside cracked.
I ran back up the stairs and was suddenly awake in my tiny room with my average bed...
