So...

I got baptized today! (:
I finally accepted that The Lord is my Savior (:

It's a good thing I didn't let my nerves overcome me.
You should have seen me. I was shaking so bad.
But then as I was ascending the steps to the tank thing [I'm not sure of the real name for it], I forgot everything except to watch Barry as he walked up the other side. We stood at the top for a moment, and then he began walking down into the warm water.
For a moment, I'd forgotten how to breathe. It was okay once I was standing next to him and he was quietly telling me what to do. I could barely sense the people watching. It was amazing.

I knew as soon as I was standing at the top of the steps that I was going to cry, but I held it in and watched as my mom's eyes shone with tears of pride and happiness.

Did you know that I'm the first of her three daughters to get baptized?
I feel even more special. (:
